The short version
Whist Buddy collects nothing. The app makes no network requests of any kind, so there is no data to send, sell, or lose.
What the app stores
Any data entered (player names, bids, scores, and game settings) are written only on your own device, inside the app’s own storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What the app does not do
Whist Buddy contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs, and no accounts or sign-in. It does not use cookies or any other tracking technology.
Links to other sites
The in-app guide contains a single link, to a Wikipedia article about the rules of Whist. Following it opens your browser, and from that point Wikipedia’s own privacy policy applies. The app has no other outbound links.
Children’s privacy
No personal information is collected from anyone, children included. There is no sign-up and no age gate, and the app has no means of transmitting anything a child enters.
Changes to this policy
Any change will be published on this page with a new effective date.
